1955 Chevrolet Cars and Trucks For Sale
1955 Chevrolet Interior Colors – 1955 Chevy interior alterations were just as extensive as the new body styles and exterior color selections on the 1955 Chevy.
Unusually luxurious interiors combine matching colors and a variety of cloths and plastic. Soft trim, developed by Ed Donaldson, was plusher and more expensive looking than before, especially the Bel Air Nomad’s new green, red and gray Waffle patterned vinyl.
Convertible top color options were beige, green, blue and white and had 6 different 1955 Chevy interior color and trim selections.
The Bel-Air Sport Coupe had 5 different color combinations of cloth and vinyl. Belair 2 door and 4 door sedans had 9 different color two-tone combinations of vinyl, waffle patterned vinyl and cloth. Bel-Air station wagon interiors included a straw pattern cloth with a light beige and blue vinyl combination. The Two-Ten Delray Club Coupe used a combination of 5 different vinyl covers and the cheaper Two-Ten sedans used a gabardine cloth and pattern cloth combination. Two-Ten Station Wagons had an even different look using a combination of vinyl and ribbed vinyl. One-Fifty Sedans and Station Wagons combined black, green and brown vinyl and a textured vinyl. In all almost 40 combinations of vinyl and cloth patterns made up the 55 Chevrolet interior selections.
