1955 Classic Chevrolet - Paul Savelesky and Miss Elegance

In 1966 Miss Elegance was renamed "The Circuit Breaker" painted metal flake gold and attended many car shows in Canada. By 1972 this car was sold again and placed in storage until 1998 when Paul Savelesky purchased the car and Miss Elegance returned home.

Paul then spent the next year completely restoring Miss Elegance to its original color, rebuilding the Buick engine and upgrading the electronic gadgets. According to Anna V. Savelesky widow of Paul Savelesky - "The joy he felt (restoring Miss Elegance) kept him going through the pain and rigors of chemo and radiation therapy". For his efforts Miss Elegance was featured in Rod & Custom 1999 & 2002 and Cruzin Magazine 2000 & 2001.

We found this car listed for sale on eBay, along with the story and images. The auction will close, Miss Elegance will be sold again. However, you can bet that Paul Savelesky will always be ridding in the passenger seat of his "One of a Kind" 1955 Classic Custom Chevy.
