1955 Chevrolet 210 Handyman Station Wagon Advertisement All the new 6 passenger 1955 Chevy wagons had curved rear quarter windows combined with the deep "Sweep-Sight" windshield to give unlimited visibility. The rear quarter windows in the wagons curved around to the tailgate, much like the Nomad. Rear side windows in the two door wagons rolled down. All wagons could be equipped with the 162 horsepower "Turbo-Fire" V-8 or two new "Blue-Flame" 6 cylinders. Additional features included Powerglide automatic transmission, overdrive, power steering, power brakes and even air conditioning on v-8 models.
Vintage 1955 Chevrolet Nomad Station Wagon For the first time for Chevrolet the second seat in all of the wagon models folded flush with the floor. The bench tipped all the way over and became part of the floor. All wagons were 6 passenger automobiles.
